Getting Started

What is Trustio?

Trustio is a UK-based platform that helps users find trusted professionals in the construction and built environment sector. It offers verified reviews, trust ratings, and member profiles to promote quality, transparency, and accountability.

How do I create an account?

Click on Sign Up at the top right of the homepage. You can register as a Customer.

For a Company or Business you'll need to sign up with the Blue Link (if you want your own Widget) You’ll need to verify your email address to complete registration. You will also have to prove your identity with a Passport or Driving Licence.

Is Trustio free to use?

Yes! Basic access is free for customers. Construction professionals can register a fixed price, per year, with optional premium features and membership tiers for added benefits.

Reviews & Ratings

How do I leave a review?

To leave a review:

Find the professional or company.
Click on “Leave a Review.”
Rate them (1–5 stars) and write your feedback.

We verify each review before it goes live to ensure quality and accuracy.

Are reviews moderated?

Yes, all reviews go through a moderation process to ensure they are genuine, fair, and comply with our Review Policy.

Can I edit or remove a review?

Yes, you can edit or remove your own review by visiting your profile and going to the My Reviews section.

Membership & Verification

What does "Verified Member" mean?

Verified Members have submitted credentials (such as insurance, qualifications, or trade registrations) that we’ve reviewed and approved. ACQP members are already Verified and will attain automatic membership.

How do I become a Verified Member?

Go to your profile > Verification Centre, and upload the requested documents. Verification usually takes 24hrs on business days, Monday to Fridays.

What benefits come with a premium membership?

Premium members receive:

Enhanced profiles with portfolio/gallery

“Verified by Trustio” digital certificate
“Verified by Trustio” digital Badge
Access to lead generation tools

Trustio for Businesses

How can my company appear on Trustio?

You can register a Company Profile under the For Business Signup on the homepage. Once verified, your company can:

Collect reviews
Appear in search results
Display trust badges on your own website
Display the Trust Widget on your website

Can I respond to reviews?

Yes. Business owners can respond publicly to any review left on their profile, allowing you to clarify, thank, or resolve issues.

Privacy & Security

Is my data safe on Trustio?

Yes. We follow UK GDPR guidelines to ensure your data is stored securely and only used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

How do I delete my account?

You can request deletion by going to Settings > Account > Delete Account, or contact support at info@trustio.co.uk.

Technical Help

I forgot my password – what should I do?

Click Forgot Password on the login page. Enter your email and follow the link to reset it.

The site isn’t working correctly — what can I do?

Try clearing your browser cache or switching browsers. If the problem continues, contact us with screenshots and device/browser info.
